Best Lullaby Music for Peaceful Baby Sleep | Making Music By Kay
Makingmusicbyk didn’t just fall out of the sky is the name of my company. It really begin years ago as I was singing along to the songs I hadn’t heard much as I grew up – – the popular 70s songs. My husband would listen to me, saying the wrong words, as I sang with gusto, thinking nothing was amiss. Finally, as I continued on, and he couldn’t take it anymore, he would say “are you making music again, Kay? To which I would respond — Yes, why? Then he would laughingly correct me on the words (but the newwords never stuck with me as I had learned it wrong years ago). I grew up in a small town where kids in the neighborhood played outdoors until dinner. In the summer the days were longer and we sometimes got together with neighbors to play and sing. It was a fun way to spend time together …the kids and
the adults both enjoy things together. My musical background.. well, hmmm. I took years of piano lessons, but I cannot play through a whole piece without stumbling.(sorry mom, dad). I sang softly in church choir, and in school choir, and at home. I sang to the babies at Mother’s Day out. I went to college as a business major. I majored in business administration, quantitative analysis. I have no formal training for music. My mother accompanies me when I ask. She’s now and 89 years old. She is truly the girl that can’t say no! She has 1 million ways to let you down easy without being “negative”. It thrills me to watch her in action. With me, she will be brutally honest under a gentle, Arkansas, w—-e——l—-l.. we could try to work on that some more I think, or we could revisit that piece some other time. (when it’s clearly a total bomb). She is priceless and I enjoy her talents on piano immensely. She majored in music. I hope you find the music, I present, enjoyable, nostalgic, soothing and stirring, and I hope the songs get stuck in your head as you go about your day—-LOL Kay Conner Fabian with Carolyn Conne

Making music by k didn’t just fall out of the sky. The name I chose had a back story behind it. It began years ago when I was singing along to the songs playing on the radio. I didn’t listen to pop music much growing up because we listened to oldies, John Phillip Sousa, classical, and of course Broadway musicals. When I joined in to sing a popular 70’s song my husband heard me saying the wrong words and there I was singing with gusto, thinking nothing was amiss. Finally, when he could take it no more, he said “Are you making music again, Kay?” To which I responded —“yes, why?” Then he laughingly corrected me on the words (but the correct words never did come out of my mouth as I had already ingrained it in my memory) ah well. My mother accompanies me when I ask. She is almost 90 years old now, and she is truly the girl who can’t say no. She has one million ways to let you down easily without being “negative”. It thrills me to watch her in action. With me, her most brutally honest answer would be a gently drawn-out Arkansas drawl of w—e—l—l, we could try to work on that some more I think, or we could revisit that piece some other time. (When in actuality, it is a total bomb). She is priceless and I enjoy her talents on piano and organ immensely! She majored in music – organ and piano. I hope you find the music we present enjoyable, nostalgic, soothing, and stirring and I hope the songs get stuck in your head as you go about your day —LOL Kay Conner Fabian with Carolyn Conner
